Tour Plan

On the first day of our 6-Day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, we will depart after a satisfying breakfast and head towards Fez. Along the way, we will make a stop in the charming city of Meknes, nestled amidst the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains.

In Meknes, we will explore various points of interest, including the renowned Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a delightful lunch in Meknes, we will continue our journey towards Fez.

Stop At: Al Qarawiyyin Mosque : See the Mosques including the Qarawiyyin Mosque, founded in 859 by Fatima el Fihri, and the Andalusian Mosque dating back to 860.

Stop At: Medina of Fez : explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other classic art of objects of Morocco.

Stop At: Dar Batha Museum : A way to explore the history of Morocco through the explanation of this museum.

Stop At: Fontaine Nejjarine : Fontaine Najjarine and Museum will be another stop for more info about the Medina explained by the guide.

Our journey starts by driving south through the captivating Middle Atlas mountains, passing through Ifrane and Azrou.

we will make a stop at the cedar forests, where you can observe the fascinating Barbarian Apes in their natural habitat. Continuing through the scenic Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt, you'll witness the magnificent Ziz Gorges, which have been carved through volcanic rock. As you venture further, the landscape gradually reveals hints of the desert.

we will continue our expedition through the enchanting Ziz Valley, making our way to Erfoud, Rissani, and finally Merzouga. Upon arrival, a refreshing glass of mint tea awaits you before we securely store our luggage. Then, prepare for an unforgettable camel ride to a Berber camp nestled in the heart of the Erg Chebbi Dunes, the highest dunes in North Africa. The camel trek to the camp takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, leading us to traditional Berber tents that are well-equipped with comfortable mattresses, cozy blankets, and cushions.

As evening descends, we will come together for a delectable dinner, followed by an enchanting gathering around the crackling fire, where the rhythmic beats of traditional Berber drums will fill the air beneath a blanket of stars. This concludes the first day of our remarkable Fez to Marrakech Desert Tour.

The following morning, you will have the opportunity to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the desert. At midday, we will visit a nomad family, where you can immerse yourself in their culture and way of life. Enjoy a delightful meal prepared under the shade of a tree, and witness the traditional process of making Berber pizza, which you will have the pleasure of tasting.

After lunch, take some time to relax and rejuvenate. In the afternoon, we will embark on a desert excursion in a 4x4 vehicle. Explore an oasis nestled in the desert, visit the unique town of Khamlia, known as the village of dark-skinned people, and discover the Mefes mines. Along the way, you will have the chance to encounter Berber nomads living on the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, providing insight into their nomadic lifestyle.

As the day comes to an end, return to the camp, where you will be treated to a delicious dinner. Enjoy another evening of music, laughter, and cultural experiences around the campfire before retiring to your comfortable Berber tent for the night.

In the morning, we will enjoy on a camel trek back to the riad, where you will have the opportunity to freshen up with a refreshing shower. Our journey will then continue to Rissani, where we will witness a bustling market that attracts numerous merchants. Here, you will have the chance to explore and browse through a wide variety of items such as handicrafts, carpets, animals, and food.

After lunch, we will resume our trip and make our way to the picturesque Draa Valley. Along the way, we will pause to capture the beauty of the surrounding nature and capture memorable photographs of these breathtaking landscapes. Our next destination is Ouarzazate, where we will arrive at our accommodation for the evening. Enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable night's sleep, preparing for the adventures that await us on the following day.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, our first stop will be at the impressive Kasbah of Taourirt, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient fortress is renowned for its magnificent towers and fortified walls, showcasing a unique blend of Islamic and Jewish influences.

Next, we will proceed to the famous fortified city of Ait Ben Haddou, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This iconic landmark has served as a backdrop for numerous renowned films, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and The Mummy. You will have the opportunity to explore this exceptionally well-preserved Kasbah, which was strategically designed to protect houses, crops, and palm groves.

Continuing our journey, we will visit the Kasbah of Telouet, located in the charming village of Telouet. This historical site once served as a crucial passageway between the High Atlas Mountains and Marrakech. Although it shows signs of deterioration, the Kasbah possesses a captivating charm.

As we make our way through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, we will make several stops to appreciate the breathtaking scenery, capturing memorable photographs and enjoying the fresh mountain air. Finally, we will arrive in Marrakech and accompany you to your accommodation, marking the end of our remarkable 6 Days from Casablanca to Marrakech.
